Eggless Coconut Macaroons

A macaroon is a small biscuit, typically made from ground almonds, coconut or other nuts, with sugar and sometimes flavourings, food colouring, glacé cherries, jam or a chocolate coating; or a combination of these or other ingredients. I have used sweetened condensed milk and desiccated coconut to prepare these beautiful macaroons. It is crunchy from outside and soft from inside, just the way it should be!

Steps
- 1
Add desiccated coconut, condensed milk, milk and vanilla essence in a bowl and mix everything very well.
- 2
Now make 20 small balls out of it. Arrange these balls on a greased baking tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown in colour. I have baked a little more to give it a golden brown colour but you can even keep it light golden if you like.
- 3
Let it cool down completely and store in an airtight container. Coconut macaroons can be served as a tea time snack along with tea or coffee.
