Calzone is essentially stuffed Italian bread with an irresistible stuffing of veggies or meat. This unique recipe of calzone is stuffed with sweet eggless custard with cream and baked to perfection. To be enjoyed hot with more custard and fresh butter! Enjoy!
Steps

First, sieve salt and All-purpose flour in a bowl. Mix yeast, 1 tsp sugar and warm milk and keep covered in a warm place.

When Yeast bubbles up, add to the flour. Slowly mix and knead to a soft dough.

Then add butter and by stretch, pull and fold method, Knead for 10 minutes till it doesn't stick to the surface.

Then grease the bowl and dough and keep covered in a warm place till dough doubles in size for around 1.5 to 2 hrs.

Then punch out the air. Knead for 10 minutes and then take out ball sized pieces.

Fill with prepared custard filling as required. (Recipe as follows). Then fold into half circle shape and seal the edges. Make all the calzone in similar ways.

Now grease a baking tray and arrange the pieces at a distance. Cover with a damp cloth and keep in a warm place for 15 minutes for final proofing.

Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 200°c. Then give milk wash on top of all the calzone pieces. Sprinkle with chopped cherries and sesame seeds on top of milk.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 180°c.

Then take out and brush the tops with butter. Cover with kitchen towel for 15 minutes. Then enjoy with butter!

To make Custard:
Boil milk and sugar. Mix custard powder with 2 tablespoon milk. - 12
Add to the milk when it reaches a boil. Cook till it all thickens.

Add fresh cream and vanilla essence and whisk till you have a lump free custard.

Cool completely till it gets a jelly like consistency. Use this to fill in the Calzone. Enjoy!
