Ingredients: 1 cup wheat Rava; 1/2 cup grated Carrot; 4 ripened Banana's mashed; 1/2 cup seedless Dates; 1/2 cup grated fresh Coconut; 1/4 cup grated Jaggery; 1/2 cup low fat Milk; 1/2tsp Cardamom powder; 2 drops Vanilla essence; 1 pinch Table salt; 1/2 tsp. Pure Ghee for geasing

She has always made our birthdays special with delicious homemade cakes with lovely icing on it!
Being a dietitian I just thought to try out a healthy version and it turned out nice. So, sharing it with you all!

1 cupwheat Rava
1/2 cupgrated Carrot
4ripened Banana's mashed
1/2 cupseedless Dates
1/2 cupgrated fresh Coconut
1/4 cupgrated Jaggery
1/2 cuplow fat Milk
1/2tsp Cardamom powder
2 dropsVanilla essence
1 pinchTable salt
1/2 tsp.Pure Ghee for geasing

Dry roast wheat rava& keep aside to cool.

On cooling, slightly grind wheat rava in a mixer.

Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl; except for milk.

As bananas increase moisture content of the mixture, so add milk at the end to achieve dropping consistency.

Now keep this mixture covered with a lid; for soaking for 3-4 hours to enhance rising of the cake.

As soaking time overs, take a pressure cooker and add water at the bottom.

Grease cooker container with ghee (or desired cake container) and add the cake mixture to this container.

Now steam this cake in cooker without whistle for 25 minutes on medium flame.

After 25 minutes turn off the flame and keep cooker aside for cooling.

On cooling remove container and detach sides of the cake with the help of greased knife.

Now place a plate over container and flip it over and transfer the cake on the serving plate.

Decorate as desired and serve!
