Steps
- 1
Wash it thoroughly and soak it in the water (RT), at least for 3-4 hrs time, I usually do so overnight- as always…Later, strain the water completely & let it rest on the strainer itself for another 1-2 hrs time, to strain out the excess water in it & leave it completely dry- almost.
- 2
The next step is to: Heating up a frying pan over the medium flame: Adding in the required aforesaid cooking oil/butter/ghee or admixtures of any two (take your own call, on that).
- 3
Add in the tempering spices to it & wait until they start crackling & turn fragrant- Add in the grated Coconut, Peanuts & sauté until lightly golden brown- Add in the Moong Sprouts to it while stirring continuously- Add in the seasonings.
- 4
Checkout on the seasonings- if that’s required, allow it to get well sautéed- It’d release a nutty flavor & aroma by now…Turn off the flame and let it sit on the hot oven for the next 5-6 mins time before serving it out.
- 5
Transfer it to a separate bowl to serve with any other condiments or to have it as is, simply- it tastes simply yummmm…at least to me & my family but I guess, spending my precious 10+ yrs. in this southern part of my country- I’ve come across many who agree with the similar tastes & choices/preferences to comment on the same.

It’s ready now-
