Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmilk
  2. 1/4 cupkhoya
  3. 1/4 cupsuji
  4. 1 tbspcocoa powder
  5. 2 tbspThandai powder
  6. 1 tbspghee
  7. 1/4 cupjaggery powder
  8. Patty Dough
  9. 2 cupmaida
  10. 3 tbspghee
  11. 1/2 cup water as required
  12. 1/4 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Take the milk and khoya and stir till a thick uniform mixture

  2. 2

    In a bowl add suji, jaggery, ghee, cocoa powder, Thandai powder, khoya and give nice mixture and refrigerate for 20 minutes

  3. 3

    Meanwhile prepare the dough. Add ghee and salt to maida and mix till flaky like sand texture. Then gradually add water to prepare a tight dough. Make a thin long cylindrical structure and cut evenly

    Now take one smal dough and press on the workbench and roll without oil or maida into round circle about 3 cm diameter.Add a spoonful stuffing and apply water at edges and seal as shown.

    Give different shapes to your Gujiya as you want

    Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees till evenly brown on all sides. Garnish with some brown sugar, cocoa powder and rose petals and enjoy slight warm. Store in airtight container for 2 days.
