Leftover Bread Shahi Tukda (No fat Recipe)

Shahi Tukda or Tukra ( indian style bread pudding)is a delicious, royal dessert which is beyond easy and can be made whenever we have bread lying in the fridge. It makes any meal like a royal and festival meal. What is healthy? I roasted the bread in air fryer. So no oil and butter!Enjoy!!

Steps
- 1
First, preheat airfryer to 180 dc power for 10 minutes. Then cut the bread slices into triangle shape. Keep on the tray along with the side edges to roast for 10 minutes.
- 2
Check if they have turned golden. If still color is faint, roast for 2 to 3 more minutes.
- 3
Then remove and cool. While the slices are roasting, prepare sugar syrup by melting 3/4 sugar and 1/2 cup water. Add some rose essence when it boils and starts to get thick
- 4
Switch off from flame and keep warm. Also side by side, boil milk for Rabdi on another stove.
- 5
When it boils, add milk powder and cornflour mixed in cold milk to the boiling milk. Let it get thick and when it coats the back of a spoon, add 1/4 sugar, saffron milk, cardamom powder and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes more. Remove from stove and keep it warm.
- 6
To arrange the Shahi Tukda, take a glass serving dish or pan. Pour some rabdi at the base. Sprinkle some rose petals.
- 7
Then arrange the bread slices. Pour syrup on them. Then pour rabdi. Sprinkle chopped nuts on them. Then sprinkle rose petals. Then repeat the steps again for another bread layer. Garnish the top with rose petals and nuts and pour any leftover syrup on the sides.
- 8
Now let it set in fridge for 2 to 3 hours. Now your Shahi Tukda is ready to enjoy guilt free!
