Slow cooked beef bowl

Got some unlabeled "random steak" from the food pantry and decided to slow cook it. Use whatever meat you have as that's the way this came to life. You're gonna wanna start this recipe the day before you serve it. You can save the leftover cooking liquid to use in other recipes

- 3
Add enough warm water till the meat is all fully covered and stir
- 4

- 5
Switch to low and go to sleep(I'm not joking 🤣)
- 6
Once awake, switch to warming and set brown rice to cook

Chop onions and let sit with salt and onion powder until rice is done
- 9
Open and drain can of carrots
- 10
Once rice is done, sautee onions, carrots, and raisins in fat of choice

Plate meat with some cooking liquid along with the rice and veggies, dig in!

Just prep the ingredients into a slow cooker and leave it to fill your house with that delicious home cook aroma. If you don’t have a slow cooker you could use a casserole dish and slow cook in oven.I use a raw roux paste to thicken, but you could use a cornflour slurry if you want to make it gluten-free.You can watch instructional video on how we make this on YouTube channel: home cooking coach. Tender Beef Rice Bowl Tender Beef Rice Bowl
My child is getting old for baby food, but I always keep forgetting to set a portion aside for him. I don't want to be bothered to make another dish for him either.I started cooking with a pressure cooker to simplify cooking. This dish is healthy as it's not fried and the meat is tender.Prepare steamed rice and a filling miso soup as you wait.If using cheap meat, season the beef with sake to tenderize and remove the odor.I seasoned the dish lightly and the meat is tender enough to handle with chopsticks. You can serve this to little children as it is. Separate your children's portion before adding the ginger. Recipe by Gasukun cookpad.japan -
Beef in the Slow Cooker Beef in the Slow Cooker
I already have a recipe for beef stew in the slow cooker, but today when I went to make it, I thought, "It has beef, it has carrots, let's add a few more ingredients to support the #tomatoteam and @Lemonia."So, I made a few changes (also looking at @Rena13's recipe) and the result was a wonderful and aromatic beef dish, reminiscent of pastitsada (just without the wine), which we served with pasta, but it would be equally wonderful with rice or potatoes (fried, of course, for extra indulgence).
