Milk Fry | Fried Milk Which Will Melt In Your Mouth

Fried milk is a Milk dessert of Cantonese cuisine. The dish is golden and crisp on the outside, soft and white on the inside, with a milky flavour. Milk is thickened with flour, cornstarch, and then covered with breadcrumbs and deep fried.

Grease a box with Oil

Add 3 cups Milk in pan
- 3
Take out 1/2 cup Milk from pan having 3 cups Milk. This will be used to make Cornflour mixture

Add 1/2 cup Cornflour in mixing bowl

Add 1/2 cup Sugar

Add 1/2 cup Milk
- 7
Mix well so that lump does not happen

Add 1 Cinnamon stick in Milk and warm the Milk

After Milk is warm, remove Cinnamon stick

Add Cornflour mixture in Milk and continue stirring so that lump does not form

Milk is thick. Switch off heat

Transfer Milk Cornflour mixture in box and cool to room temperature

Tap little bit

Milk Cornflour mixture is cold now. Cover and keep in freeze for 2 hours

After 2 hours, Milk is solidified. Take it out from box

Cut the Milk block in smaller blocks

Prepare batter. Add 1/2 cup Flour in mixing bowl

Add 2 teaspoon crushed Sugar

Add 1/2 cup Water and mix well so that lump does not form

Spread Bread crumb on a plate

Dip the Milk blocks in batter and cover with Bread crumbs

Add Oil in pan as per requirement for deep fry and heat

Deep fry Milk blocks
