In one of my first trip to Tokyo, I got the opportunity to prepare Indian dal (lentils) curry as part of the dinner for the local team. It came perfect , adequately spicy, thick and tasty. Here is the recipe

In one of my first trip to Tokyo, I got the opportunity to prepare Indian dal (lentils) curry as part of the dinner for the local team. It came perfect , adequately spicy, thick and tasty. Here is the recipe

Clean the toor dal

Add sufficient water, chopped tomato to the dal and boil it preferrably in pressure cooker
- 3
After boiling, take a pan and add oil, jeera. Saute them well
- 4
After that, add green chilly, Saute well
- 5
Add half tbspn turmeric powder and stir it
- 6
Add boiled toor dal and stir it well till it gives you that spicy aroma
- 7
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top of it. Add two fried red chilly on top of it.

Ready to be served hot.
