Ingredients

1 hr 30 min
6-7 persons
  • For gappay;
  • 1 cupSooji (Semolina)
  • 2-3 tblspMaida
  • 1 tspSalt
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying
  • For gol gappay pani;
  • 2-3 cupWater
  • 1 tblspLemon juice
  • 1 tspGinger powder
  • 1 cupImli ka Pani
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • For sweet chutney;
  • 1 cupImli ka pulp
  • 1/2 cupGur
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tblspGinger powder
  • 1 tblspZeera
  • Salt as required
  • For green chutney;
  • 1/2 bunchHara dhania
  • 1/2 bunchPodina
  • 5-6Green chillies
  • Water as required
  • 1/4 tspSalt or as required
  • Filling;
  • 1 cupBoiled chickpea
  • Yogurt as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Gappay preparation;
    In a bowl add all the dough ingredients and knead it until soft dough forms.

    Now set aside let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

    Now take dough and mkae small ball. Roll thin with a rolling pin and cut with a round shape cutter.

    Cover for 10 minutes and then fry them.

  5. 5

    For gappay Pani;
    In a wok, add water and imli water and all the mentioned ingredients and bring it to boil.

  6. 6

    Gappay Pani is ready.

  7. 7

    For Meethi chutney;
    In a pan add imli ka pulp and add gur, water. Cook until it becomes a paste.

  8. 8

    Now add chat masala, red chilli powder, ginger powder,zeera and salt and cook for 2-3 more minutes.

  9. 9

    Sweet chutney is ready.

  10. 10

    For green chutney;
    In a blender add all the ingredients and blend well.

  11. 11

    Green chutney is ready.

  12. 12

    Assembling;
    Poke a hole in gappay, add some chickpeas, add meethi chutney, green chutney, yogurt and pour it gappay water and enjoy it.
