Ingredients

  1. Manchurian sauce
  2. 3 tablespoonsoil
  3. 1 inchginger
  4. 5garlic cloves
  5. 2Serrano peppers
  6. 6Scallions
  7. 1Shallot
  8. 60 gGreen Bell Pepper
  9. 2 tablespoonsSoy Sauce
  10. 3/2 tablespoonsSambal Oelek
  11. 1 tablespoonwhite vinegar
  12. 1 teaspoontoasted sesame oil
  13. 3 tablespoonsketchup
  14. 2 tablespoonsbrown sugar
  15. 1/2 tablespooncorn starch
  16. Cilantro
  17. Cauliflower
  18. 500 gCauliflower
  19. 70 gFlour
  20. 45 gcornstarch
  21. 1 teaspoongarlic
  22. 1/2 teaspoonginger
  23. 3/4 teaspoonred chili powder
  24. 3/4 teaspoonsalt
  25. 120 mlwater
  26. 60 gPanko

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200

  2. 2

    Cauliflower: Mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, Chili powder and salt. Gradually pour in the water and whisk.

    Dip the cauliflower in the batter + Panko

  4. 4

    Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Check and bake another 15-20 minutes.

    Sauce: Mix the soy sauce, Chili sauce, ketchup, sugar, sesame oil and vinegar. In another bowl, mix the cornstarch and water.

    Heat up the oil. Add the ginger, garlic and peppers. Cook for 1 minute and then add the Shallot, Scallions, green Bell pepper and seasoning. Cook for 3 minutes ('til it smells good)

    Add the sauce and stir fry for 1 minute. Mix the cornstarch again and add it to the pan. Stir until the sauce becomes glossy and thickens.

    Coat the cauliflower in sauce (at room temperature) and garnish with cilantro and Scallions.
