Mint and Coriander Raita is a refreshing condiment made with fresh mint and coriander leaves alongwith curd /yogurt and few spices to make it tangy. It pairs very well as a side dish with paneer and chicken tikkas,kababs,veg or non veg biryani or pulao ,samosa or stuffed parathas.

Steps

Clean and wash coriander and mint leaves separately.Drain water completely. Grind to a smooth paste alongwith 1 tbsp yogurt, pinch of sugar,chaat masala,garlic cloves,lemon juice and 1 small deseeded green chilli.

Whisk yogurt until completely smooth. Add the ground paste,roasted and ground cumin powder,salt to taste and mix till well blended.

Sprinkle roasted cumin powder and pinch of red chilli powder. Garnish with mint leaves and serve as a side with paneer or chicken tikka,kababs,veg or non veg biryani or pulao,samosas or stuffed parathas.
