Andhra style daal dosa / Pesarattu

Pesarattu is a very nutritious, healthy, protein rich dosa recipe of Andhra Pradesh which is made from green lentils and rice. To make it healthier, I have added spinach and mint to it. It's an ideal meal and breakfast dish.

Andhra style daal dosa / Pesarattu

First, drain the rice and daal.Grind together with all the ingredients to a smooth and thick batter. Use water to adjust consistency.

Keep the batter for 10 minutes. Then heat a tawa. Make dosas slightly thicker than regular dosas. Pour oil on sides and cook covered on both sides till crisp.

Make all the dosas as above. Serve hot with choice of chutney or vegetable kurma. See the attached receipe of vegetable kurma. They taste yummy 😋
