Ingredients

30-45 minutes
  • 1 cupchicken thigh meat (diced)
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/4 teaspoonground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil (for frying and stir-frying)
  • 1 tablespoonminced garlic
  • 1 packagesweet pickled mustard greens (diced)
  • 1/4 cuponion (diced)
  • 1/2 cupbell pepper (diced)
  • 1/2 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonsoyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoonsesame oil
  • 2green onions (cut into pieces)
  • 1/4 cuproasted cashew nuts
  • Straw mushrooms (optional)

Steps

30-45 minutes
  1. 1

    Prepare crispy fried chicken by cutting the chicken thigh meat into bite-sized pieces. Mix with salt and ground black pepper, then coat evenly with all-purpose flour.

    Fry the flour-coated chicken in hot oil over medium heat until golden and crispy. Remove and drain excess oil. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Add a little vegetable oil to a pan. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the mushrooms and pickled mustard greens. Stir in the onion, bell pepper, and fried chicken. Stir until combined.

  4. 4

    Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Add the green onions and roasted cashew nuts, stir to combine. Serve on a plate.
