Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupdry Coconut
  • 1/4 cupPeanuts
  • 1/4 cupgarlic cloves
  • 7-8red chillies (kashmiri)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1 pinchAsofoetida (hing)

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry Roast the peanuts. Once it has cooled completely, remove the skin and keep aside.
    Dry roast the red chillies and keep aside
    Dry roast the coconut and let it cool down completely.

  2. 2

    Now add garlic, red chillies and salt to the dry grinder and grind finely. It will be slightly wet.

    Now, add the coconut, peanuts, hing powder and turmeric and grind again finely.

    Chutney is ready.
    Check for the salt and add if necessary.
