Ingredients

30 minutes
4 people
  • 10/12 long green Chilli
  • As per tasteSalt
  • 2 cupsbesan
  • 1 tps amachur powder
  • 1 tps coriander powder
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1 tps red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tps haldi powder
  • 1 tps chaat masala
  • As RequiredOil for deep frying

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Rinse the green chilies first and wipe them dry with a kitchen napkin.

  2. 2

    Slit each chili on one side. Keep the steam don't remove them remove some seeds from the chilies if they are spicier.

  3. 3

    Take a big bowl and add besan, salt, pinch of baking soda, salt, red Chilli powder, and haldi powder mix well using water to make a thick batter.

  4. 4

    Take a bowl add salt,
    Coriander powder and amchur powder mix well. Take slit green chilies to add some of this dry masala and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Heat up oil in a pan. When it's hot take 1 spoon of hot oil and carefully in spoon mix it with a gram of flour batter. Mix all well.

  6. 6

    Dip the green chili in the batter and coat very well carefully place the batter-coated green chili in hot oil and fry till it changes to a golden brown.

  7. 7

    Fry all green chilies in batches. Remove with slatted spoon an keep on tissue paper.

  8. 8

    Your yummy Mirchi pakoda is ready to Serve.
