Bottle gourd is very good for our body .It is light and easily digestible. In summers this vegetable is made in different styles.I have made it without onion and garlic. Season it with cumin and asafoetida and very few spices,you will love it's taste.I love it.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add asafoetida,cumin, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, tomato puree and salt,saute for 3-4 min.Add bottle gourd pieces and mix.Add 1/2 cup water and close the lid.Swich off the gas after 3 Rd whistle.Let the steam release.

Your tasty bottle gourd curry is ready to serve.Serve it with roti or paratha.
