Ingredients

50 minutes
12 pieces
  • 1/4 cupCarrot (cube)
  • 2Potato (peel and cube)
  • 1/4 cupBeans (chop)
  • 1/4 cupSweet corn
  • 1/4 cuppeas
  • 1/4 cupbeetroot
  • 1/4 tspsalt for boil vegetable
  • 1/4 cupBreadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspRoasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 1/2 tspAamchur powder
  • 1 tbspGinger, garlic, green chilli paste
  • 2 tbspFinely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 tspsalt for tikki
  • as requiredOil for deep frying
  • as requiredYogurt
  • as requiredGreen chutney
  • as requiredTamarind chutney
  • as requiredNylon sev
  • as requiredFinely chopped onions

Steps

50 minutes

    Firstly, pour 2 cup water in pressure cooker, then add all vegetable and 1/4 tsp salt.

    Take 5 whistles. Drain off the vegetables to remove excess water. Cool out the vegetables completely.

    Now mash the vegetables completely.

  4. 4

    Add 1/4 cup breadcrumbs.

  5. 5

    Additionally, add all dry spices, ginger,garlic,green chilli paste, fresh coriander, salt (to taste).

  6. 6

    Combine well forming a dough. Add more breadcrumbs if there is too much moisture in vegetable mixture.

  7. 7

    Now, greasing oil with hands, make tikki's.

  8. 8

    Deep fry in hot oil, fry occasionally and fry to golden brown and crisp on medium flame.

  9. 9

    (You can also roast in pan with less oil).

  10. 10

    Take out from pan, cool completely, Take one dish and put 3 tikki, pour whisked yogurt, a tsp of green chutney and sweet imli chutney.

    Sprinkle nylon sev and chopped onion.

  12. 12

    Finally, it's ready to serve.
