Ingredients

  1. 500 gmspotatoes
  2. 2 cupscurd
  3. 2 cupswater
  4. 1 Tspred chilli powder
  5. 2 Tsproasted fennel seeds powder
  6. 1 Tspgaram masala powder
  7. 1/4 Tspblack pepper powder
  8. 1 Tspcumin seeds
  9. 1 inchgrated ginger
  10. As RequiredRock salt
  11. 2 Tbspghee
  12. 1/2 Tspturmeric powder
  13. 1/2 Tspdry ginger powder
  14. As RequiredMint / Coriander leaves

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil potatoes, remove the skin, and chop into pieces. Mix turmeric powder and fry them in 1 Tsp ghee. Keep aside.

    Mix red chili powder, garam masala, and roasted and fennel seeds powder (roasted), black pepper powder with curd.

    Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Add grated ginger and fry for a few seconds.

    Mix now curd with masala powder and cook on low flame till it comes together.

    Add salt and water, and fried potatoes. Mix well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

    The gravy thickens and the curry becomes aromatic. Garnish with mint leaves and Serve.
