Homemade samosa recipe | how to make samosa | aloo samosa

Firstly, in a large kadai take 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp cumin, saute, 1/2 tsp fennel and 1/2 tsp coriander seeds, pinch hing, it crackled.

Add 1 inch ginger and 1 chilli. Add peas and saute for 2 mins.

(I have used frozen peas here if you using soaked peas then make sure to boil.

Additionally, add all dry spices and salt, saute on low flame until spices turns aromatic.

Add 4 boiled and mashed potatoes, mix well until the spices are well combined.

Mix well, stuffing is ready. Allow to cool completely.

Take a large mixing bowl, take maida/wheat flour.

Add carom seeds, salt and oil and mix well, it crumble, holds shape.

Add little by little water to knead dough.

Knead tight dough adding water if required.

Grease the dough with oil, cover and rest for 20 minutes.

Now, make samosa, seal tight.

Firstly, heat the oil in kadai and deep fry the samosa on a low flame.

Stir occasionally, frying the samosa on low medium flame until it turns golden and crisp.

Drain off over kitchen paper,

Finally, enjoy aloo samosa with green chutney and tamarind chutney, fried green chillies.
