Ingredients

35 minutes
2 persons
  • 1 cupfresh and tender green gram
  • 3 cupsmilk
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  • 2 tspghee

Steps

35 minutes
  1. 1

    Grind green grams.
    Heat 1 tsp ghee in a nonstick pan, saute grinded gram for a while then add milk & let grinded gram cook in it on slow flame, stirring occasionally.

    Furrher add sugar and cook for while now it will become a lump-like mass & leaves the sides of the vessel.

    Lastly, add cardamom powder & ghee. Mix well & turn off the heat. Let it cool & in a greased modak mould, fill it & make modaks. You can make any other shape.
