Kaddu Chaana Daal is a quick and easy Punjabi curry . I prefer to make kaddu Chaana Daal in a pressure cooker but you can also make it in a pan adding water as required.

Kaddu Chaana Daal is a quick and easy Punjabi curry . I prefer to make kaddu Chaana Daal in a pressure cooker but you can also make it in a pan adding water as required.

Steps

Clean and wash the Daal. Soak daal channa for 2 hours. Take pressure cooker add Daal Chaana,all spices

Add oil, water and cook for 15 minutes in pressure cooker or until the Daal is soft.

Take a pressure cooker add oil, onion, ginger, garlic paste and stir fry till light golden brown colour.

Add all dry spices, kaddu, tomato and bhonify together. Add water and pressure for 5 minutes.

Then add boiled Daal Chaana, kasuri methi by rubbing in hand and mix well. water is dried and oil separates.

Garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle the Garam masala powder.

Serve hot with roti or naan.
