Vegan Chia Kheer (Indian Pudding Dessert) Vegan Chia Kheer (Indian Pudding Dessert)
Kheer is my favorite Indian dessert, but I wanted to make it so that people with lactose intolerance or vegans could also enjoy it.I don't think they sell coconut milk in cartons in Japan, so substitute with soy milk, if necessary. If you worry about your blood sugar levels, you can omit the raisins. Use liquid sweetener, since it is less likely to raise your blood sugar levels. If you're not worried about them, I recommend using maple syrup. Recipe by Maxerbear cookpad.japan -

Mishti Singara: Sweet Samosas Stuffed with Kheer and Khoya Mishti Singara: Sweet Samosas Stuffed with Kheer and Khoya
While traditional samosa or singara (that's what we Bengalis call it) are filled with a spicy potato filling, this one comes with a sweet filling made of reduced milk, milk solids and semolina, laced in sticky sugar syrup. The filling can also be made of chhana or cottage cheese, but I like the kheer version more. The given proportion yields around 40 small samosas or 30 large ones.See more on my blog post here: http://www.allthatsdelicious.com/mishti-singara-recipe Lets Talk Food -

Sweet Mung Bean Dessert with Condensed Milk Sweet Mung Bean Dessert with Condensed Milk
Mung bean dessert, also known as mung bean 'suan', doesn't actually contain garlic—the name comes from the peeled mung beans, which look like garlic cloves. Steamed mung beans can be used in a variety of sweet treats. You can make a thickened sweet soup and mix in the mung beans—enjoy it on its own or sprinkle with peanut powder. Drizzle with plain condensed milk for a rich, creamy, and lightly sweet dessert that's delicious served hot or cold. 凱茜媽咪の廚房Translated from Cookpad Taiwan
