200 gmbesan
50 gmsooji
1 pinchturmeric powder
as requiredSalt to taste
2green chilli chopped fine
1 inchpiece ginger grated
1 tsplemon juice
as neededWater
1 tspCooking soda
as requiredOil for shallow frying

Mix all ingredients except oil, to form a smooth idli consistency batter.

Steam in cooker for 10 mins. When slightly cooled cut into slices and shallow fry.(can be deep fried also)

Serve with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
