Steps

Soak chana dal in warm water for 1 hr. In a cooker, add oil and mustard seeds and when it splutter, add tomatoes and saute it.

Further add chopped lauki and chana dal, salt and all the spices and jeggery &. Curry leaves. Mix everything well and add water as required.

Cover the cooker lid and pressure cook it for 4 to 5 whistle.

Lastly add coriander leaves and serve it.
