Saw the recipe for this Sweet and Sour sauce online and wanted to give it a try. I like sweet and sour chicken, but have seen some crazy recipes that made it seem like it wasn't worth the bother. This one seems simple and tasty. Update...this one was great. Will make it again. Made fried rice with it.

Ingredients

  • 3boneless skinless chicken breast chopped
  • 1/2 cuporange juice
  • 1/2 cuppineapple juice
  • 6 tbsprice wine vinegar
  • 4 tbspsugar
  • 1 tbsptamari sauce(soy)
  • 1 tbspcorn starch
  • 1 tbspketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cupcorn starch(to toss chicken in)

    Toss your chicken in corn starch, salt and pepper. Cook over medium high heat until cooked through and golden.

  2. 2

    Combine all other ingredients and warm over low heat

  3. 3

    Pour over chicken and continue to cook until chicken is coated. Pour into a large bowl and serve over rice.
