Stuffed Hariyali Parwal

Stuffed hariyali parwal is prepared using fresh green spices as stuffing which makes it really fresh and flavourful. Use of fresh green spices makes it different and delicious. This curry can be served along with roti, paratha or rice.

Steps

Wash parwal and peel it. Now make a slit in each parwal and remove the seeds if it is hard, if it is soft then you do not have to remove the seeds. Now add coriander leaves, green chilli, garlic, ginger, sesame seed and onion in a mixer jar and grind it into a coarse paste. Do not add water while making this paste.

Now add turmeric, coriander cumin powder, garam masala, salt and 1/4 cup of oil to it and mix everything well. Stuff each parwal with this stuffing.

Now add 2 tbsp oil to a pan and arrange all the parwal in the pan. Cook it on high flame for 5 minutes. Now add the remaining spice to it along with one fourth cup of water. Now cover and cook it on medium heat. Keep on stirring 2 - 3 times in between.

When the parwal is cooked and all the water is evaporated add fresh cream to it and cook it on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add coriander leaves and turn off the heat.

Serve stuffed hariyali parwal along with roti, dal and rice.
