Steps

Add 2 tbls oil to pan and heat up. Add sliced onion and saute till crisp on edges.

Add 1 1/4 tbls (omit 1/4 for later) fennel seeds and cook till seeds are fragrant

Add tomatoe paste and smoked paprika and blend completely.

Add the cabbage and blend making sure all is blending evenly. You may need to scrape the pot take sure nothing sticks. Keep the mixture moving. Cook till cabbage is wilted.

Add the rest of the fennel seeds, liquid smoke and beans. Evenly coat and serve hot. Sprinkle will fresh fennel leaves. (Optional)
