Take one medium size vessel put 1 small bowl of green whole moong add 1 and 1/2 cup of water in it and cook it for 10 - 15 min or as required unless cooked.cook it on medium flame.can be cooked in cooker also for 2 whistles. But best is to cook in vessel.

Once moong is cooked,heat 1 tbsp oil in kadhai add mustard seeds, cumin seeds once it cracks add asafoetida, crushed garlic, chopped onion, turmeric all in above-mentioned quantity.

Saute it for 5 min then add cooked moong in it. Add salt as per taste and 1 tsp red chilli powder. Mix all the ingredients well.close the lid and keep it on low flame for 5 min.simple yet healthy and nutritious.

Green Gram vegetable (whole moong ki sabzi) is ready to be served.Garnish it with chopped coriander.serve hot and enjoy with chapatis or rotis Tastes wonderful 😋
