For the raita, mix pomegranate, boondi, green chillies, salt, chat masala, mint leaves and curd. Keep aside so the flavors are mixed well

Pomegranate raita is ready

Cook the basmati rice and keep aside.

In a clay pot- Because we can maximum flavours all absorbed. Add ghee and cumin seeds and all the whole spices. Let the flavors of spice get absorbed. Then add onions till translucent.

Add all the vegetables. Add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, and mix well. Dont overcook the vegetables.

Cook for 2-3minits and then add cooked rice and mix well

The master flavor I want is of mint add chopped mint leaves. Put off the flame and cover the pot. The clay pot will preserve all the natural flavors.

Serve the pulav and raita

Usually biryani is served with raita but I love this combination.

In my thinking no over oily or spicy food is delicious. A simple dish with all the simple flavors of whole spices is healthy and equally delicious. Health is wealth afterall
