Assemble ingredients

Put water to boil

In a moderately heated pan, add ghee, then add wheat flour and roast under low to medium flame till Color of the flour changes and we start getting the nutty aroma.

Keep stirring continuously while roasting for an even roasting and gradually colour of flour changes to brownish.

Now add hot water and keep stirring to avoid lumps, gradually water evaporates and the mixture thickens. Add sugar, let the sugar melt, and cook for 3-4 minutes sugar incorporates well with flour and Halwa thickens.

Keep stirring till the sugar melts and Halwa turns thick and velvety. Halwa will start leaving pan.

Now Halwa is ready to serve. Garnish with dry fruits and Serve.
