I wanted to make some Japanese desserts and I decided not to use Mirin to make sure everyone could eat it as Mirin is a Japanese seasoning and it includes alcohol.

Steps

Cut a sweet potato into shape shapes and soak it in water at least 5 minutes

Put sunflower oil and sugar in the frying pan. Wipe the sweet potatoes dry and put them in the pan too. If water is left on it, oil will splash.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, when warm, reduce the heat slightly and fry for about 10 minutes. When the surface is crispy, it's ready.

Turn off the heat and add black sesame seeds at the end.
