Steps
- 1
Blend or grind the oats to get flour like texture. Transfer to a bowl or a dough kneading plate.
- 2
Add salt & ghee to the water & bring to a boil. Remove & add the water to the flour. Mix with a spoon as it wil be very hot to touch with bare hands.
- 3
It will form into a sticky dough when it comes together. Leave it aside to cool a little.
- 4
When it is warm enough to work with, knead it till it forms a smooth dough.
- 5
Now, make small portions of the dough & roll like you would for a roti. The sides will be rough so use a bowl or any round object to make perfect roti shapes.
- 6
Once done, heat a pan & cook it like you would for a roti or chapati till done on both sides. You can add oil if you prefer. It takes longer to cook than normal rotis but it turns out soft, healthy & yummy.
