Oats & Potato Tikki Burger

Dry roast oats for 2-3 minutes or till it starts spluttering. Remove it in a plate. Let it cool. Grind it in a mixer to powder.

Mash boiled potatoes nicely. Add powdered oats and salt and mix well and make a dough.

Divide the dough in 4 equal parts and make balls and flatten it on your palm and make tikki.

Heat cooking oil in a non-stick griddle and place the tikkis over it. Add 1/2 tsp sesame seeds over tikkis and press it. Let it shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from other side also.

Fry from both sides. Now slit burgers from centre and shallow fry it from both sides.

Place the oats tikki between burger and serve hot with Tomato ketchup and mint chutney with ginger tea.
