Ingredients

1/2 hour
4-6 servings
  • 5-7medium sized gazar grated
  • 3green chilli cut into large pieces
  • 4medium sized tomatoes cut in slices
  • 1 teaspoonmethi, 1/2 teaspoon kalonji, little hing, 1/2 teaspoon lal mirch, 1/2 teaspoon haldi
  • 3-4 tablespoonmustard oil
  • 1 teaspoonsugar and 1/2 teaspoon amchoor
  • as per requirementSalt to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the pan, add oil, once fully heated, lower the flame and add methi, kalongi, hing and stir it
    Immediately add grated gazar and start sautéing
    Say after 2-3 minutes add green chilli and masala, salt
    Again stir it for 2-3 minutes and put the lid
    Keep it on lowerflame

    After 2-3 minutes add tomatoes and put the lid
    Let it cook for 5 minutes

    Add sugar and amchoor and switch off
    Garnish it with hara dhaniya
