In a cooker put soaked daal, grated ginger, haldi and salt
Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles - 2
In a kadai put ghee, add in zeera, hing, once it spluttersput kashmiri mirch and immediately tomato paste
Flame will be medium low - 3
Cook it for 4-7 minutes, once done, ghee appears on aabove the paste then add cooked daal and stirr
Here water is added as per the requirement, it should not be too thick nor watery
Cook daal for another 3-4 minutes
Switch off the flame - 4
Make tadka
In a tadka pan heat ghee and roast in onion and garlic til
It turns little browish
Switch off the flame and immediately put it on daal and cover it so that smell remains inside
Now garnish it with hara dhaniya
