Heat ghee in a pressure cooker on medium flame.

Add cumin seeds, cloves, Cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper corns, bay leaf, one by one and fry for few seconds.

Now add cashews fry till golden colour.add green peas,grated ginger and chopped green chilli.sauté for a min.

Add washed, soaked and drained rice to the cooker and fry for a minute.

Now add 2 cups of hot water.Add salt and stir. Close the pressure cooker with lid.

Cook till one whistle and let pressure cooker cool down.

Open the cooker and serve pulao garnished with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve pulao with soup and/or riata.
