  1. 1 packageNanyang Bak Kut Teh Pork Shank Soup Base
  2. 1 handfulwide glass noodles
  3. 4 1/4 cupsnapa cabbage (about 120 grams)
  4. 4 piecesdried tofu skin
  5. 1 portionsquid and fish paste
  6. 2 piecescorn on the cob
  7. 4florets broccoli
  8. 4fresh shiitake mushrooms
  9. 2 tablespoonscarrot slices (about 30 grams)
  10. 4 piecesassorted hot pot ingredients
  11. For dipping sauce:
  12. 1little chopped green onion
  13. 1little minced garlic
  14. 1little diced red chili
  15. Soy sauce to taste (preferably sweet soy sauce)

    Prepare all the ingredients.

    Pour the Nanyang Bak Kut Teh Pork Shank Soup Base into a pot.

    Add the napa cabbage, scored fresh shiitake mushrooms, carrot slices, corn pieces, dried tofu skin, and assorted hot pot ingredients to the broth and simmer.

    Once the broth comes to a boil, add the wide glass noodles (pre-soaked in hot water), broccoli florets, and squid and fish paste. Bring back to a boil.

    Dip the cooked ingredients from the hot pot into the sauce and enjoy. For the dipping sauce: Mix sweet soy sauce with a little chopped green onion, minced garlic, and diced red chili.
