Soya Matar / Soya Green Peas Curry

Steps

Take boiled and squeezed soya nuggets

Marinade soya nuggets by adding 2 tbsp curd + 1/2 tsp Cumin powder + 1/2 tsp Coriander powder + 1/2 tsp red chilli powder + 1 tsp Salt.
Marinade for 1 hour. - 3
Assemble ingredients for curry, chop potato into cubes.

Make paste of tomato + green chilli and keep aside.

In moderately heated pan / kadhai, add oil and allow to heat, then add all whole spices and allow to crackle, then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds, add onion and sauté till golden brown.

Add marinaded soya nuggets + potato cubes and sauté for 4-5 minutes, gradually moisture evaporates.

Add whisked curd (2 tbsp), mix well and cook for around 2 minutes, add spices and stir fry till oil is seen on surface.

Add water and give a nice boil, cook for 4-5 minutes, add water as per preferred gravy consistency.

Add finely chopped Coriander + Kasuri Methi + cream / Malai and stir well.

Cook under low to medium flame for around 3 minutes and dish is ready.

Serve with paratha/ Phulka / naan.
