Peel and chop dudhi bhopla. Shallow fry and cook in oil. Let it cool down. Make a paste of it in mixie.

Heat oil for tempering. Add jeera. Add garlic chili paste. Add hing. Add chopped onion and saute well. Add turmeric and paste of dudhi and mix well.

Add water, tamarind pulp, and besan slurry to it. Add chopped coriander. Let it boil for 5 minutes more.

Serve hot with chapati, bhakri or roti.
