Ingredients

  1. 1 cupself rising flour
  2. 1 cupgreek yogurt
  3. Pinchsalt
  4. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  5. 3 tablespoonsugar
  6. 3 tablespoonsmelted biscoff spread or chocolate

Steps

    In a plate add sugar and cinnamon powder. Mix well and set aside.
    In a bowl add flour and yogurt and make a thick batter. Transfer in a piping bag. Cut off the end of the bag.

    In a pan heat oil on medium. Press the bag and cut off using a scissor (about an inch) an drop the dumplings in the oil. Keep turning them over to get even colour and is cooked evenly.

    For the cinnamon and sugar coating put them straight in the cinnamon mix plate and toss to cover the balls.
    For biscoff ones. Let the balls cool completely and melt biscoff and dip them in it. Let it set in the fridge for half an hour.

    I haven’t done sugar glazed ones but you can do them if preferred. In a bowl add 1/4 cup icing sugar, 1 tablespoon melted butter and 1 teaspoon milk. Mix and dip the balls in it. Let it set completely.

Hi all, my name is Rekha. I am Indian by birth, born in Uganda, East Africa, I now live in Wilby, Northamptonshire/England.I retired at the age of 60 due to severe arthritis. I am married, a mother and grandmother.I learnt to cook from my parents at a very young age of seven. I started to cook simple dishes for the family and gradually learnt how to cook. My mum use to cook at our shop where we sold Indian sweets and savouries. I have learnt a lot from my mum. I started cooking fusion dishes and learning from others. My strong point is making sweet dishes and innovating new dishes. I can improvise and be creative in leftover dishes.I love being on Cookpad because I can share and learn new recipes. I have also made a lot of friends.
