Ingredients

1/2 hour
2-4 servings
  1. 500 gmchanne ka saag
  2. 2 tablespoonbajre ka aatta duly mix with water to make a liquid paste
  3. 1 tspGinger julienne
  4. 1 harimirch
  5. 1/2 teaspoonzeera
  6. pinchhing
  7. 1/2 tsp eachhaldi, kashmiri lal mirch, dhaniya, kasoori methi
  8. 3tomatoes paste
  9. 3 tablespoonmustard oil
  10. 2 tablespoonlGinger- garlic chilli paste
  11. as requiredHara dhaniya for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    In a cooker put chana saag duly washed properly along with ginger julians, mirch and little salt
    Add in 1 glass of water and cookit for 3-4 whistles

  2. 2

    In a kadai put oil zeera hing haldi, kashmiri lal mirch, saute
    Add tomato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes and then add dhaniya powder, kasoori methi and again cook for 3-4 minutes on a simmer flame and put it off

  3. 3

    Open cooker and mix in bajra aatta liquid paste
    Cook saag for 7-10 minutes stirring constantly

  4. 4

    Now mix this saag in tomato curry and on the flame and cook for another 5minutes on simmer flame
    You can add little water also

    Now mix in garlic paste and let it cook for another 5 minutes
    And it is done

    Garnish it with hara dhaniya and little ghee
