Ingredients

  1. Preparation
  2. 1egg
  3. 1/2 tspminced garlic
  4. 1/4 tspdill weed
  5. 4 tsplemon juice
  6. 1 tsplime juice (optional)
  7. 1 tbspminced green onion
  8. 1/8 tspred pepper flakes to taste
  9. 3 tbspmayonnaise
  10. 1/2 tspDijon mustard
  11. 8 ozfresh crabmeat
  12. 1/2 cupround butter crackers
  13. Cooking

  15. 1/4 cupround butter crackers

Cooking Instructions

    Crush 1/2 cup of butter crackers and set aside

  2. 2

    Wisk together egg, mayonnaise, green onion, lime juice, lemon juice, dill weed, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, and garlic in a medium bowl.

    Gently, stirring crab meat, being careful not to break up meat.

  4. 4

    Gradually mixing cracker crumbs, adding until desired consistency is achieved.

    Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. This step is optional but highly recommended to firm the mixture prior to cooking.

    Form crab mixture into 4 patties

  7. 7

    Coat patties with bread crumbs

  8. 8

    Melt 1 tbsp butter in pan over medium heat

  9. 9

    Fry each side of patties for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Add more butter as needed.
