First, gather all the ingredients.

Turn on the stove and heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and all whole spices, and let them sizzle. Add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and green chilies, and sauté well. Then add chopped tomato and turmeric powder, and cook until softened.

Add rajma masala and a little water, mix, and cook until fragrant. Then add the boiled kidney beans, mix well, and add water and salt as needed. Stir to combine.

Cover and cook.

Transfer the cooked rajma to a pot. To make the rice, heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and turmeric powder, and let them sizzle. Add the rice and sauté.

Serve the hot rajma with jeera rice.
