  • 300 gmsAtta / Whole wheat Flour
  • 3/4 tspSalt
  • 150 gmsGrated Dudhi / Bottle Gourd/ Louki
  • 1/2 inchGinger finely chopped or grated
  • 1/2 TspTurmeric powder
  • 1 TspCumin and coriander powder
  • 1 tbspKasuri Methi (Optional)
  • as requiredAchar Masala (optional)
  • as per taste Chilli powder
  • 2Green Chillies chopped
  • as neededSmall amount of Cilantro Chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbspGhee
  • As requiredWater (or use whey water or buttermilk or curd wate

    Take everything in a bowl and mix everything first except the water, after everything has mixed evenly, add water and form a soft dough (not too soft), cover and let it rest for 30 minutes

    Now roll out the thepla thin (paratha).Then put it on the hot tawa/ griddle and turn both side, then apply ghee/oil on one side and turn it and apply on the other side and flipping and tossing cook the thepla till you get the desired color and your thepla is well cooked.

    You can add Fresh Methi to it and make Dudhi Methi Thepla as per availability or only Methi Thepla.
