Whole Wheat Flour or Sharbati Gehun Aata along with some freshly grated Beetroot gives us the end result in the form of these gorgeous looking Beetroot Pooris or Bhaturas. Winter is the perfect time for these lip-smacking and garma garam masala Pooris that can be relished on their own. These do not require any accompaniments whatsoever. They taste great with just a teaspoon of our favourite Pickle and a hot cup of kadak Chai. That's it. Breakfast, Brunch or a lazy afternoon Lunch, it suits every mood perfectly.
Soft and supple beautiful looking Pooris are a must have for my family especially on a Weekend.
The best part is that these are made with Wheat Flour and are equally delightful and desirable just like those made with Maida or the Plain Flour. Healthy and wholesome plus loaded with the goodness of Vitamins and Minerals, it's absolutely a bliss.

Steps
- 1
Make a soft dough out of all the ingredients listed under the dough preparation.
- 2
Divide the dough into golf sized balls. Roll them with light hands. Deep fry in hot oil on both the sides. Keep an eye while frying. Check the oil temperature. If it is too hot, reduce it a bit and if it has become less hot, increase the flame accordingly.
- 3
It is advisable to roll all the pooris or the bhaturas at first and keep them covered with a cloth. Deep fry one by one after that. Serve them hot with Aloo or Chole masala. Or just with some mouthwatering lemon pickle just as i did. It's your choice. Enjoy!
