Assemble ingredients, soak sago pearls for 5-6 hours and then keep in colander to drain excess water and make it dry.
Soak Moong Dal for 4-5 hours and pressure cook to 80 %. - 2

80 % steam all vegetables and keep aside.

In moderately heated pan / Kadhai add oil, add bay leaf + dry red chilli + cumin seeds + ginger and allow to crackle, then add sago pearls + little salt and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add Turmeric + cumin powder + coriander powder + cardamom and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Now add cooked Moong Dal along with water + all steamed veggies and mix gently. Add sugar also.

Cook for 3-4 minutes but don’t dry much as after cooling it will dry more.
Lastly add ghee and stir well. Switch off flame. - 8
Khichdi is done.

Serve hot hot with Papad or Pickle and enjoy winters.
