Steps
- 1
Chop Onion and Garlic finely.
- 2
Heat a large thick bottom sauce pan or pot to Med-High temperature and add Olive oil; fry Onion and garlic from step 1 until onion turns transparent.
- 3
Add Ground beef and brown them.
- 4
Remove from heat, add Lentil flour, Italian herb mix, and Black pepper.
- 5
Combine Tomato paste, Soup stock and Red wine together; then, add Oats and combine thoroughly.
- 6
Cover with a lid; slowly heat the sauce pan to Medium-Low temperature and cook until the mixture becomes thicker, about 45 to 60 min. Occasionally, stir the bottom surface of the sauce pan to keep anything from burning and sticking to it. You can add some Soup stock (or water) to adjust thickness when you reheat or over-cooked the sauce.
- 7
Serve with your favourite pasta. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on the top, amount adjusted for your daily nutritional needs.
- 8
You can add extra vegetables and cheese to make Lasagne and Baked short pasta!
