This is a prominent dish of the Makar Sankranti festival. It is a dry sweet panjiri of only two ingredients til(sesame seeds) and Gul(jaggery). It is an energy booster sweet with lots of benefits during winter.

First take sesame seeds

Now heat a pan or kadhai, add til(sesame seeds)

Dry roast on low to medium flame

Roast till it changes colour to golden and starts crackling

Now transfer in a plate and allow to cool

Once it cools, take a mixer jar

Add roasted sesame seeds, grated jaggery and cardamom powder

Grind coarsely

Til-gul(sweet powder) is ready.
