Millet Flour Raab is a natural home remedy to build immunity and is often made in Gujarati and Rajasthani households along with their meals in summer. Serve Raab as a side dish along with Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabzi, Phulka and Mirchi Lahsun Ka Chunda for a weekday meal. Raab is a warm health drink made from pearl millet flour also known as bajra that is infused with different types of spices most often prepared and served to strengthen the immune system of a new mother or to someone who is low on energy or has a congested chest. You can also serve it cold during winters.

First of all heat water in a sauce pan, add dill seeds and let it boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Now strain this water through a sieve.

Now heat ghee in a pan, add edible glue to it and fry till the glue swells and take it out in another vessel. Now add millet flour in the same pan and roast it. After that, add the fried gum to this millet flour and mix it well.

Now slowly add dill seed lukewarm water to this mixture and dissolve the glue with flour. Now add jaggery to this and melt the jaggery by stirring continuously. After that add almond powder, ginger powder, ganthoda powder, dry coconut powder and dry dates powder and mix well and switch off the gas flame.

Now our highly nutritious and health enhancing Millet Gundar Raab is ready. Garnish this raab with dry coconut powder and sliced almonds and serve hot raab.
